To put it plainly, highly creative people like to challenge the status quo. They ask why and why not often and embrace alternate values. It may seem like they’re fighting against order, but really, they’re trying to make sense of it.
2. Their creativity is cyclic.
There are times that they paint all day, or stay up all night writing music. There will be other times they don’t produce much of anything. That’s okay. Creativity sometimes runs in cycles.
3. They need their space.
If they retreat to their studios to work, pop in and say hi once in a while but know that they need their space to do what they do.
4. They are focused.
Highly creative people, once their juices are flowing, will be difficult to distract from it. Remember to stay flexible with your schedules.
5. They may have mood swings.
There’s nothing like art to make you swing between joy and depression. They’re smart and they have sensitive hearts. Play your best supporting role.
6. Their work is personal.
They take it personally if something doesn’t turn out like they wanted. Every critique can be seen as validation or condemnation of their work and therefore their worth."

its raining and i am super sleepy. i can't stay out until 3 a.m. anymore because the foreigner will wake me up by 6 a.m. and then i'm wiped out the entire next day. i still don't understand why i can hear her. even with the fan on. grrrrr. in lots of pain today, then its gone, as soon as i turn OFF the a/c. rw's loan went through for his house, didn't expect it, he did a bankruptcy five years ago but has been at the same job for 20 years, so that helps. amazing. you can't read the banks anymore at all. good year for him. they also got a new dog and he told his 23 year old son he has to get his own place unless he is returning to college. strong words from rw. seriously.
magical day yesterday. had to swap my phone. which i did. got a 4 inch with all the bells for free. its a metro swap. different network, they merged with t mobile. then the guy explains the phone is really a computer now. my neighbor said the same thing, which means, it will go down frequently just like computers do. AND that extra we pay for this "smart" phone that is really a computer is stuff that is free now because of wifi.
my neighbor has a pad or tablet and uses that instead of her home computer. it even does excel spread sheets and all that. so the keypad on the new phone didn't come up to return a call the next day. you have to barely touch the screen or it will malfunction. and there is no space for sign in, even when larger, on the sites i like. you have one hour of call time to make a return, after that no return. i returned it. i think the guy was in shock.
i downgraded like my neighbor did to a flip phone which is cheaper monthly anyway - it texts and calls and all that, but no internet (no computer controlling it). then got the same kind of tablet as she has. super light with a flash drive for word processing. even if its not versatile enough for work, it pays for itself in ten months. its $5 more for the small smart phone monthly and $15 more for the 8 inch. this is bigger than that anyway. was very strange playing with that tablet yesterday. we will see. r was home and he says that the network goes down nightly because the cable company works on it every night. can't risk that with a phone. what if there is an emergency? rn has TWO phones for the same reason. i think the guy was annoyed - to a young person having a phone is the whole thing. lol. boy, am i old.
had sniffles, not sure if its from a person with a cold somewhere - me and j went out to dinner by accident (the place is excellent for lunch and not great for dinner, though i hear if you get their steak then it is good. the rest wasn't what i like, so just a waste) -- or am i getting run down from lack of sleep. grrrrr.
dyed my hair, did a partial facial. waxed - nice to have honey wax again and still can't figure where the other vat of wax went. that kind of thing usually corrects all grouchiness. it didn't though. bought animal supplies, but need more. d called and wants me to talk to the comptroller about raises. that is good and not good. would prefer he just submit a rate increase and if it is too high renegotiate - he prefers to know what they want and just get it right the first time. hmmm, don't remember something like that ever really happening anywhere. lol. i prefer raises when its automatic - like a union. i think melissa's office closed. not positive, but have a feeling i better look. so many people have troubles right now. its tragic if it did - her kids are still young and they have had their house less than ten years. what a mess.
uncle mark called about rebecca. i knew that would be next. my cousin was hitting her a lot (more like beating her up) because rebecca is super smart. wth? not a smart ass, just smart. like smarter than her. jealous much? i couldn't believe it. he doesn't like my cousin to begin with so this is going to be a war. what a total jerk. it amazes me she never outgrew that.
had dinner at k's. a big salad with grilled salmon. he says m had cataract surgery today. hope it went okay. had cranberry martini's and coffee. yum. watched forensic files and a 1934 movie called dames. LOVED it. love super old movies.

I am so, so sorry. But the print is soooo small that cannot read it. You always have very interesting stories and I love reading your journals......but this one I can\'t. :-(

expected the call but rebecca looks different. when she was two she had very dark hair. when the nanny complained about her i figured, she is two, they are allll like that at two. by 2010 it should have straightened out. ashley was there by then and very sweet. for rebecca it got worse with the nanny because of the difference, but ashley was 4 by then and rebecca started out there at age 2, the anger was already there. and then there is mary. why didn\'t i remember that about mary. no one was for mary at all. but you can never tell. people lie all the time so how do you know?
rebecca now, reminds me of debbie when she was 9 from rockland county. her hair isn\'t black anymore, its lighter, but her eyes are super dark, like debbie\'s older sister, the rest reminds me totally of debbie with a bit of freckles and fair skin. amazing how kids change. i expected her to be darker and darker like her mother who is greek/turkish and i don\'t know what else. but steven is super light, ronald sinclair light. she is also super smart and i would assume that is steven\'s mother\'s side. but you never know what is what with genes. she sounds relieved to be gone from mary and i think to myself. there was no benefit to three years with mary. how can you be hitty like that for so many decades? its repulsive.
