Six Embryos

We found out yesterday morning that our eleven eggs (nine mature) had rendered six embryos.  James put on his machoest face and said, "Well, I guess my boys got the job done."  As far as we know, the doctors didn't have to use ICSI on any of them, so all it took was getting the eggs and sperm together.  Magic. This morning they called and said that all six are still doing fine, and they're scheduling a Day 3 transfer tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m., with 24 hours of bedrest afterwards.  I am about to win a bedrest award.  I've been bedresting for the last three days, with no sign yet of getting tired of it.  Sleeping has always been a talent of mine. I'm very excited to welcome two of my babies in tomorrow morning.  Oh, to be pregnant, at least for a few days!  I wonder what dinner James will make the embies tomorrow night, to encourage them to stay... Oh, I hope, I hope, I hope.

I was sooo excited to read your journal. Sounds like everything is going very well. James is such a sweetheart. I\'m also very glad you are having such a great experience at SG. After \"talking them up\" I was really hoping that you would encounter a nice atmosphere there. I am a bit jealous tho, tomorrow you will be within a few yards of my awaiting 3rd frozen totsicle. Say \"hi\" for me :) I miss him/her

I can\'t wait to hear how the transfer goes. Please keep us posted....and rest up! You have a big day tomorrow!!!

Good luck for your ET. Just think - you\'ll have 2 little lives in you, burrowing in and making themselves at home for the next 9 months.... Keeping it all crossed for you!
