Six Embryos

We found out yesterday morning that our eleven eggs (nine mature) had rendered six embryos.  James put on his machoest face and said, "Well, I guess my boys got the job done."  As far as we know, the doctors didn't have to use ICSI on any of them, so all it took was getting the eggs and sperm together.  Magic. This morning they called and said that all six are still doing fine, and they're scheduling a Day 3 transfer tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m., with 24 hours of bedrest afterwards.  I am about to win a bedrest award.  I've been bedresting for the last three days, with no sign yet of getting tired of it.  Sleeping has always been a talent of mine. I'm very excited to welcome two of my babies in tomorrow morning.  Oh, to be pregnant, at least for a few days!  I wonder what dinner James will make the embies tomorrow night, to encourage them to stay... Oh, I hope, I hope, I hope.
