Sister Update

I talked to my sister on her CT scan and the Dr. says everything is normal.  They are now looking into too much Calcium.  She takes a calcium shot at the nursing home and, she also takes a calcium pill.  She does not eat much and the nurse said that if calcium supplements are taken without food, they can cause irritation and discomfort in the stomach so, they are looking at taking her off the calcium pill and monitoring her and see if this discomfort subsides. I will go see her again tomorrow to see how she is doing and what they have decided.  I am glad the scan came out good so, evidently whatever it is, is not too serious.
