Sinking again and hurting
I was doing so very well this past Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Yesterday, by mid-day, I started to get very agitated, actually angry. There was a very good reason to be frustrated at work but my reactions and emotions were unreasonable. I was livid. I have been on edge all day today and sadder as the evening draws on. If this continues, I guess I'll have to call my doc even though I'm not due for a follow-up until June 6. Ugh. I want this to end. I hate feeling so unstable. How does this happen? Sometimes, I think about the World Trade Center and all those people who died. I helped in a very small way when it was built by taking orders from the electrical construction men and helping my boss order materials for the electrical construction workers to install. So many years later, on 9/11/01, the building fell and crushed thousands of people. And thousands more inside and outside those massive structures were emotionally crushed. It hurts me deeply but I know I didn't kill them. I know our guys where I worked didn't kill them either. But someone knew those buildings would collapse and sent those planes and it angers me. How did they know? It couldn't be coincidence that both buildings were hit by planes and they both collapsed the same way! The Empire State Building was hit by a plane many, many years ago. Granted, the plane wasn't a jet, but the Empire State Bldg wasn't a mammoth building and yet it withstood the impact. So, what was flawed to allow the two towers to collapse - not topple from the point of impact and up - but collapse in on themselves? I still can't get over it. I still ache inside when I remember. It's only May, so why am I thinking about this now? I'm rambling and agitated so I'm gonna sto here. What's wrong with me? I want to jump out of my skin! Gotta go. Thanks for listening.Inkspring
