Silly little things...
Savings - yeah right. Did my budget, discovered I entered a payment wrong and had an extra $60 this week! AND I immediately spent it at the vet, lol.... poor kitty - he looked like he hurt himself and he was in a lot of pain. Turns out it's arthritis! How the heck did he get to be 11 years old so fast!
Exercise - yeah right, lol. Did great til Thursday... chaos ensued. And I caved in to the DQ Blizzard temptation by 2pm Friday (a LARGE). I would go ski today to burns those calories off, but my schedule isn't going to work out again today (see below) and I'm doing an emergency pet sitting until an unknown time tomorrow - so, I guess tomorrow will be a good day to get some home projects finished. I've had a kitchen light ready to be replaced for the past 6 months and have been too busy to get it done, so I'll do it this weekend!
Going to get my taxes done today - and of course, the bank sent the house interest info to the X (darn... I missed that!). So we'll see what happens there (they faxed me a copy to talk to the accountant with).... AND the gas line at the tax place got hit by a logging truck yesterday morning and was closed because of the subsequent gas leak.... so I may need to drive 45 miles (and that's one way) just to get them done today... and I NEED to get them done today because any refund is already spent at the end of the month... well, IF I get a refund. Oh well - maybe I'll add a little side trip to Menards and Lowes and start planning out my Spring gardening as well.
And I ran into the X Thursday - well, I saw him, he didn't see me. If he had seen me, then he would have pretended he wasn't going into that liquor store! Good news, though! I'm not pining for him as much as I thought I was! The thoughts of our current situation (where he's an SOB? and I'm really enjoying the single life, lol) are keeping me from dwelling or grieving over what I thought the relationship was. Dare I say I'm BEYOND the grief stage? (I know, I know, lol, famous last words, right?)
And my second check up (where they'll be looking for possible cancer) is Tuesday, Valentine's Day. I have decided that today, while doing my running, I'm going to buy myself a pot of mini-roses! I LOVE ROSES! And maybe a little dark chocolate, lol. Yep, lol, life is good!
LATER!

I love your attitude overall and about grief. I also go through waves of it about the marriage and my finances. I had an extremely bad one in early December. I was distraught for about 3 days. This is so NOT my personality. I would like to say that was my last big one, and Ive been in such a great mood since hiring my attorney and getting proactive. However, another round may rear its ugly head soon.
