SIL
My son was at my sister-in-law's house todayand he told her and her husband that I don't like her. So she asked DH about it stating that she's my SIL and I should like her. He told her that I don't like anyone since I lost the baby. He explained to her that I 'm still grieving. Well she didn't understand why I don't like her and said she empathizes with me but she doesn't understand why I'm still such a mess. Well there's one good reason to not like her! How can she say that she empathizes when she never said anything to me or hugged me after my m/c last year and after I lost the baby 3 mo ago. To this day she hasn't asked me anything or even brought up the baby. She left the hospital in a hurry because she didn't want to see the baby if it just "fell out" of me. Then the day after I came back from the hospital she came over asking us to babysit her 1 year old daughter so she could go play volleyball. What is wrong with her?! Dh agreed to watch her but I was furious and fortunately for her I was still taking heavy pain pills so I was calm. She said she figured since we were home anyways we could watch her. We weren't home on a holiday! I was still healing physically from labor and hurting like hell from losing my daughter. Then she added that she thought that bringing her daughter over would cheer me up since I just lost mine. OMG!! I could go on forever about this woman.
Two weeks later she called my house, I answered and she said "Oh you're home? I thought you were at work." I sid, "No I get 6 weeks off for maternity leave." Her response was, "Really? But you don't have a baby."
I guess I'm just angry at the world right now, my baby's due date was yesterday and AF arrived today so I've been crying for two days now. I don't need to worry about her feelings, her kids are both alive.

Your SIL sounds like a bitch, to put it lightly. I\'d stay away from her as much as possible or have your husband explain to her how insensitive she is. You will not be able to heal if you have to deal with her comments and actions.
I totally agree. I will not be around my husband\'s cousin at all. She had her first baby in Jan of this year, turned 17 in April and is pregnant again! I am furious just at the fact that she will have 2 kids at 17 and I will be 25 in about a week and couldn\'t keep my first one! She put on FB when she found out my SIL is having a boy that boys are her favorite and that it\'s good because we didn\'t need a girl in the family anyway...HELLO!!!! There is one in the family, her name is Olivia. She may not be here but she is still a part of the family. I will not talk to her, look at her or anything. I cannot stand her!!!! So yes, you should keep your distance from her as much as possible. She is being extremely insensitive!!!!!
Im so sorry your having a difficult time, I wish I could give you a hug.
Wow, I second that, What a bitch. And, I wouldn\'t worry about her knowing you don\'t like her. She has given you many, many reasons not to since your loss. Some people are very insensitive to the loss of a baby. I would avoid her. I\'m sorry you\'re huting. Hugs.
Wow, I cant believe her. Dont worry at least she knows and you dont have to pretend. She dont deserve your friendship or kindness. She seems really imature. Im so sorry you had to go through something like this.
