Signs - love them!

I hope this is an inspiring entry. Today Barbara posted on FMO an entry from CorysMom entitled "Thoughts" It was about the song by Bob Marley, "Don't Worry, Be Happy". When I read that I got chills because the day Eddie passed after seeing the Coroner take my beloved son, my only child, my baby Eddie away in a body bag, I went into his apartment with my DIL and took some of his prized belongings, mostly pictures. I guess i took them because I needed something to hold onto. Many people including my grandchildren and caring friends & family had gone to my house & I had put several pictures on the dining room table when I arrived there so we could look at & touch them. After folks left I went to bed but of course couldn't sleep and was crying & sobbing.
Ken had gone into the dining room to clear off the table. He said, "You Ok?" I said, "No, I just wish the Lord would send me a sign to know Eddie's OK." Ken inadvertently bumped the side of a framed pic of my grandchildren that Josh & Christina had given Eddie for Father's day and it began to play, "Don't worry, be happy" from a recording in the frame! On the worst day of my life I knew he was OK!
I had forgotton about this until I read CorysMom's entry. Thank you Peggy! Thank you Barbara! Thank you God. Love you, Ed!

My daughter sent me a text after she crossed over. 6 days later. I was in agony about her son, my grandson, whom the bio dad came and took without warning, notice or time for explanation to the little punkin. I was in absolute agony and tried to get pills from people so I could die. I texted his bio dad to make sure he told my grandson how much grammy loved him and he texted back He Knows. I had been texting my departed daughter since she passed every day because that is how we communicated most. We live in an area where signal is low but texts always get through. So I was not surprised when she texted me back after she had crossed over. When I opened the text from her, it said He Knows. I knew she was referring to my grandson. I stared at it for the longest time reading and re-reading it over and over again, He Knows, He Knows, He knows. Then I closed it and opened it again, the text from her was still there, received on october 27th at 3:06 pm, but the words were gone. My daughter and I were avid studiers of the metaphysical and knew that somehow electromagnetic fields are the easiest for the crossed over person to manipulate, things like phones, tvs, radios etc. So I was not surprised that she was able to communicate to me this way. Her phone that she texted me on was locked up in an evidence locker at the police station. I KNOW she is good and happy, I guess it is ME that I am crying for, the agony of not having her.

There is a song called, \"God only cries for the living\" that I had inscripted acrosse both of my son\'s footstones. It\'s true. We cry for us. Our children are in the a more wonderful place than we could ever imagine. However, I\'m a bit selfish, and I want them here with me! So, I cry. And, I get angry, and I yell. But only sometimes.
As far as signs, oh the signs they give me. Little treasures that I find all the time! A cloud shape, a feather, a breeze, a whisper, and even a moth! It\'s a long story, as most of them are. Our children are still with us. I know they are! Keep watching for your signs. They send them.
Hugs to you,
Barbara

After I lost Dad, I was driving in my truck when something pushed me to check my tire pressure. Then I got a strong urge to go across the highway to a little take-out place where I used to pick up chow mein for Dad and myself.

I have no doubt that Dad was worried about me, he always did things like reminding me to check my tire pressure. I hadn\'t been eating well at all, and the chow mein I picked up was the first really substantial meal I had eaten since he crossed over.

Living alone has been very difficult for me, I keep thinking that I can\'t handle things. It\'s not true of course, but it\'s the way I feel.

I meet Dad in my dreams once in a while, he seems ok. I am always puzzled by how he recovered from all his illnesses, then I wake and realize it was a dream.
