Signs from above

I’m envious of people saying they’ve dreamt of their loved ones since I haven’t experienced that yet but after this weekend I don’t think I can be envious anymore. My hubby is just going a different route by showing me “signs”.
Let’s start off saying I really had a bad few days last week. I didn’t think Mother’s Day was gonna be too bad. It started on Thursday and went into unstoppable tears on Saturday morning. My poor daughter got the brunt of it on Saturday morning but then we both wanted to keep busy so we got a move on. She was going to get flowers for my garden (that was my Mother’s day present from her – I hate doing the garden) and I was going to walk my dog (I usually do 1 ½ to 2 miles) and meet my daughter afterwards.
The first sign was in a convenience store while I was picking up scratch offs for my mother. The stores usually put up their “winning tickets” and the only one in this store was dated my husbands DOD. Of course this brought on more tears.
The second sign came when my daughter told me about the flowers she bought. I told her to look for impatiens for my flower boxes, which she did buy but she said she wanted different flowers for my round flower boxes. She said she walked up and down the aisles and picked out these flowers with long stems and a ball of flowers on top. The flowers she is describing were my husbands favorite flowers!!!
The third sign was a bit later, I was in the yard cleaning and planting my tomato plants and my daughter was in the front yard doing the planting. While doing this she found a small white rock with my husband’s name on it. She almost flipped out!!! This rock was part of a bereavement group session that I had in my coat pocket for a while till it started bothering me, I didn’t know what to do with it, but couldn’t just throw it out since it had his name on it. So one day around 2 months ago I was in the front of my house with the rock in my hand and said to myself he loved his garden so let me just put it in there and I just through it. My daughter was laughing and crying at the same time. She needed this sign!
The fourth sign was from a co-worker who I haven’t seen in months. She called me at work on Monday morning saying, “Someone is trying to send you a message, your name kept popping in my head all weekend”.
All this just shows me that my hubby is watching over all of us and will always be with me. I know he misses us as much as we miss him. I love you honey, keep those signs coming!!

What a blessing these signs are. I don\'t think that great love can die...just the physical body. I believe your husband is embracing you from above and \"watching\" over you....and that he will keep sending you \"signs\". I am sending you a virtual hug for the day with the hope that it will be a good day for you and your family. Hugs, Dianne

Am so happy you received those signs! Sometimes it is just so difficult being physically without them, and those signs do a world of good! Yes, I think they miss us too. Hugs, Sue
