Siem Reap Travel Guide

The Siem Reap province is located in Cambodia and more popular than other provinces in Cambodia. The name Siem Reap has the special meaning Siem ( Thai ) Reap (defeated ) that call Siem Reap. Siem Reap province is capital of Angkor Area, There are many ancient history places and natural resort, That make Local and International people are attractive to visit and more increase every years. Angkor Area is important Archeological park, Has many famous temples. Especially they are Angkor Wat Temple, Prasat Bakheng, Prasat Preah Khan, Taprohm Temple, Bayon Temple, Banteay Srie Temple.
On the south side of Siem Reap Province around 20Km has one lake that called Tonle Sap. It is a biggest one in south east Asia and there are a lot of natural resources especially the fish that support all the people in Cambodia enough after export to the Over sea ( Viet Nam, Thai and Singkarpor) then the people living around Tonle Sap have Jobs fisherman and agriculture on the dry season because that place have rich soil (Delta). More interested in floating village for the Tourism go to visit that can see activities of the daily life people living. On the North side of Siem Reap province there many mountain and have natural resort (Water fall Jungle forest including ancient history on the River bed) So that it is so beautiful landscape, When someone go there to visit make good feeling and refresh and get a lot of oxygen make very good healthy.
Angkor Wat
was built by the King Suryavaraman II at the early of 12Th century and dedicate to Hinduism. It is very important for Khmer people to go there to celebrate and visit until now day, That all Khmer people go there dedicate to the God they hope that get happiness together.
Bakheng Temple
was built by the King Yasovarman I, In the end of 9thcentury and dedicate to Siva God. The located on Bakheng hill that so beautiful place, When we approach on the top of the temple we will see very nice view around the temple area so fresh that place more popular people to do sunset.
Preah Khan temple
was built in the reign of the king Jayavarman VII, In the end of 12thcentury dedicate to the Buddhism.The most important dedicate to his father  that place to be University for the people in that time people go there to study.

Taprohm temple
was built in the reign of the King Jayavarman VII in the end of 12th century and dedicate of Buddhism and more important dedicate his Mum, And so beautiful temple that has the tree grow up on the temple(Tombraider).
Bayon Temple
was built in the reign of the King Jayavarman VII again, In the end of 12th century dedicate to Mahayana Buddhism. Bayon most popular for Khmer people in the time go there to celebrate  until now day and there are many towers and faces that replica the King face.
Banteay Srie
was built in the reign of King Rajendravarman II and completed in the reign of King jayavarman V with his GuRu ( Teacher ) dedicate to Siva  God, The material to built Banteay Srie from Pink sand stone and so beautiful temple in Cambodia alot of people go there to visit.
