Sick of the Verbal Abuse

This has gone on long enough!!! I can't take it anymore. My 19 yr. old son calls me a "Bitch" every day. He calls me "Cazy" and cuss's at me on a regular basis , telling me to "Fuck Off". How a I suppose to deal with that. It's worse than being married!
I have been single for the last nine years because I am not willing to go thru another abusive relationship. My ex called me a "Crazy Bitch" every single day. Now my son is doing it. I can't take it!!!
I have a severe case of depression. And I have been having a breakdown for a long time. He doesn't care. As a matter of fact he is making it worse....on purpose. I have actually begged him to stop. He won't. It's amusing to him when I break down and cry, then he makes fun of me. And mocks me.
I have been in two abusive relationships , I thought that if I stayed single I wouldn't have to suffer abuse anymore. Boy, was I wrong.
This kid won't get a driver's liscense or a job. He doesn't leave the house and he has no friends. That's not my fault. No matter what I say or do to try and help him he just tells me to "shut-up" and leave him alone. If I mention anything about getting a liscense he starts the name calling. He's nearly 20. Isn't it time for him to get a life and leave Mommy alone?
The bottom line is that he makes miserable. I can't come home and relax. I start getting anxious on my way home, just like I did when my abusive ex husband was still there. I want to run away and be alone. Alone, what a wonderful sound.
Oh well they learn what their father's say and do. Both of my younger boys treat me like that. They have the same father. Go figure!

I have been back reading your journal and it makes me so sad, and mad and feisty. I wish that you could get your son to move out - I know it won\'t be easy. But it\'s not fair for you to be abused like this and it\'s not helping him either. I fear that one day, someone is going to explode and your life will be much worse than now.
Please don\'t be miserable anymore. If it is breaking my heart, I hope there are others close by that can help you move your son out.
Sorry for being tough with you, but I have suffered when my daughter lived with me and I am so happy and glad that she is gone. She is happier too.
