Sick again-Setting the theme for this Winter?

Well, I'm sick again! Not sure if it is a new bug or old bug-started feeling sore throat and coughing alot a few days ago-just about 5 days after finishing the antibotics for the sinus infection and severe bronchitis. Now I have lots of chest congestion, nose plugged, ear aches etc...a lot like when I had the flu, and I did have problems with taking the antibotics and had to stop for several days when I had the stomach problems, then restarted them. So maybe that affected how well they work? Don't know but I'm am so tired of being sick on top of what else is happening wrong in my body. Got more antibiotics and cough syrup to help-everytime I cough or sneeze it feels like a pain bomb going off in my arm and lower back. Not even sure if the pain meds increase the doctor gave me is helping or not! I had to call her and tell her I was sick again and couldn't update her on how well the meds were doing like I was supposed to and update her on the perscription cough medicine. She will probably call tommorrow and want an update- but not sure what to tell her. Even though my doctors seperate sickness to GP, RSD to Pain Management, it's hard to seperate it in my body and tell what is causing what- all kind of blends into one big nasty ouch. It seems my immune system is taking a dive-sigh hopefully it will come back up for air and not drown me in viruses! Anyway, mentally doing much better, it helped to get rid of Worker's Compensation. I'm trying to learn the Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8 program, but find it difficult as my short term memory sucks and I can't seem to learn it very fast. It however is understanding me better and better each time I use it. It has made it much easier to update my Journal and post on DS which I appreciate. My doctor also suggested a small recorder that can either hang around my neck or fit into my pocket to use for my short term memory- the keep to train yourself to use it, and check it often.  I'm seriously thinking about doing that, as just yesterday I sat two small roasts on the counter to thaw to use with a slow cooker packet to make Stew and completely forgot I had done so. My husband found them still on the counter next morning leaking blood all over the place and of course now not good for consumption. The dogs will love it, but we can't afford that kind of waste.  I was extremely upset about it, as I had gone in the kitchen for several things and didn't even notice them still out.  This kind of stuff really scares me, I'm afraid I will forget something super important, like pick up the child from the library, school etc.  But I don't know what to do about it- I already help keep Post It notes in business!  I have picked up books lately to read, thinking I haven't read them, then the girls ask me why I am re reading the book. To me the book is brand new, don't remember a darn thing from it- oh well atleast I get lots of value for entertainment out of one book!
