Sicily Holidays, When to Proceed - And Why!

Once to visit Sicily - evidently the response could be any time but my advise would be to avoid January to March which despite the island being just off the African coast it gets rather chilly which is also the wet season.

Weather wise the average temperatures flirt between 20-35 C degrees. The heat will be dried rather than the gross heat we associate with the English climate. Of course if you ascend to the heights of Mount Etna and other peaks you will eventually cool down!

A question may form why not August? Mainly because this can be a month that Italy continues holidays- and that means that prices peak by almost double and the restaurant prices equally elevate.

Cefalu is in my judgment an interesting resort which contains it's Norman tall built by the fifty percent brother of William the Conqueror back in 1131, narrow cobbled streets which lead out onto small beaches and the sea.

The best way to see Sicily could be to take a seven-night coach tour which attends for all the major places of interest and then take a week booking a flat or villa to relax and revel in the countryside.

Another idea is a fly drive holiday that can be planned to yours requirements. They also give a travel of the island keeping in farmhouses, which often have a pool and a restaurant.
