Shrinking food, same prices!
Incase you haven't noticed, some foods are shrinking amount of product instead of increasing their prices! Oh well, we do eat too much in the States anyway huh? It's only a few ounces for most I think. And with the gas pricesa increasing by leaps and bounds I guess this was the better way for them to get their profits. And if we can't afford it we better start growing our own food! I grow some of my tomato consumption. I probably should grow a few other things too! And I used to grow dandilion in my yard by accident and that is good in salads! Unfortunatly by the time I realized it they disapeared and Katrina made sure they didnt come back! Figures I'd miss out on something free! And funny thing is how I found out about it! I was caring for my oldest son's Iguana! I wanted to feed him better than just dried food and found out they like those weeds and then found out they were good for human consumption too! Wow! We can eat weeds! And lately the news has been talking about eating bugs again! NO WAY, I refuse to eat them on purpose! I swallowed a mosquito once and glad I couldnt taste it! I was yawning and it just flew in! when my manager saw the expression on my face and asked what was wrong. I said I swallowed a bug and he says " Oh,I see, and you forgot to put sauce on it!" LOL!Everyone there was laughing and I got ribbed for the rest of my shift! I was about 18 and was working at a resturant called Flaming Burger! It's now a Bar!
