SHOULD KNOW BETTER!!!!!!

Oh boy.  I should know better than to trust my memory and my sons.  Crap.  I went to the hiding place where I keep the Perocet and it's gone.  I'm not sure if I put it in another place or not.  I've been known to do that with many things.  Anyway ~  how could one of them found them?  It's possible but it was a great place ~ or so I thought.  I know better than to not keep them under lock and key but I don't have a safe.  Haven't had a chance with everything going on.  J hasn't asked for any pain meds the last couple of days so I'm not sure if he has them or doesn't need them. Just now  I found an inconvenient hiding spot for the Vicodin and there is no way they'll find these.
All I can say is ~ J goes for his MRI tomorrow so if he needs more I will have to buy a safe.
It's scary if one of them found them.  T is home from school and I forgot how sly he is ~ slipping in and out.
Of all people to find herself in this position. "Practice what you preach"......

Don\'t feel bad. It happens to all of us. Two nights ago my husband locked his wallet in his car and then left his car keys in the kitchen when he went to bed. Trevor came home late, found the keys and took the $30 he had in his wallet. It is not natural to have to be on high alert at all times. In my experience, if you have a safe, they can find the key.

My two favorite hiding places are the middle of a laundry basket full of laundry in my room and the tire storage spot in my car. My husband has been successful hiding small items in a canister of tea stored in a kitchen cabinet.

When R was living with us, husb. and i would select hiding places together so if one of us forgot, the other would know where it was. Items and drugs STILL disappeared! It was uncanny how they have ESP when it comes to getting what they want. The last items when R was living here last were my iPod and camera. We had hidden those together. Before that, innumerable things of value were taken, and one lovely Chr. Eve I discovered our VCR was missing and my video cam. We called a cop in. What a great thing for Christmas.
I hope those days are behind us with him not living here any more. He must be trustworthier now as he has house-sat for friends multiple times.
As I said, there are improvements.
There\'s no dealing with a drug user\'s ESP. Even putting things in a safe; one counselor told us the kids can just remove the safe. Maybe we ought to watch more Wiley E. Coyote cartoons. Or something.

ohh boy...does this sound familiar...My son just recently took a drill and drilled into my safe....Took an extra key to my vehicle where I keep everything now and got a hold of meds...He sold them all ....I can\'t find my wallet now...I remember hiding it but I can\'t remember where I hid it....Looked for hours until I was an emotional wreck. I always have to watch my back with both sons...I am now missing my Epson Scanner ?? Its a mad mad mad world
