Shots today

Well today had shots in actual hip socket...never had this one done before. Think I freaked out poor doc cause I wasn't nervous or scared, told him there's no reason to b afraid of needles when you've had as many as I've had. Right side went well just the normal prick and burn of the lidocaine then the pressure where you can swear you've gained 5lbs where they just out the steroid!  Left side was different! First prick, then burning, then I'm saying "yup that's tender", finally I jumped when it hurt real bad...apologized to the poo doc cause I didn't say "magic" word for more numbing meds. Know comes the waiting game to see if this helps with the pain or not, if not then we know it's not my hips causing the pain it's coming from the back again. Told hubby I don't know if I'm strong enough for this, he told me I a am and God knows I am or he wouldn't put this on me. Somedays I just want to take a break from the pain, go for a long hike in the woods with my family, and sleep through the night. One day there will be no more pain or suffering but today is not that day...only when my Father brings me home!
