Shot # 2

2nd shot went good, I think my body id adjusting to the poison I'm putting in. If I  could only get rid of the freack'in headache Thats the worse side I have. Knock on wood "LOL" I know I'm lucky it could be worse. I will will bet this. Whats really kicking my butt is the heat. My mind says you can do it, But my body says differnt . Tx and being a firefighter don't mix "LoL"

Please be careful in that heat, water, water, water. Keeping food in tummy helps when I feel a headache coming on. My best relief is neck adjustment from chiropractor. Good luck.

I can only imagine..I try to stay indoors afternoon cuz of the heat & glaring sun. Get your rest. Lots of water. Wishing you the best.

Hi daytaker - Though I have YET to begin tx, I am a firm believer in massage. It doesn\'t have to be full body (that\'s as close to heaven as I\'ve found). Good luck with the headache.

Day, do you take a tylenol before your shot? If not, try taking some about a 1/2 hour before - it may help. Congrats on shot 2 down and be careful out there.

Oh yes the heat would do it.
If possible stay away from the heat, and the headaches should subside.
Take advil liquid gel for migraines, they did give me temporary relief for my headaches.
If you are still working, maybe a leave of absence will be necessary at this time.
Stay out of the sun, or use precautionary measures.
Long sleeve cotton shirt and pants, and a hat, also sun screen the highest protection on expose skin.
Good luck on your journey towards wellness friend.

You are right, I can\'t even imagine how you can do tx and be a firefighter. That has got to be the hardest experience I\'ve heard of anyone who is on tx or has been on tx. Hope you have some leave built up. Take care of yourself...those son\'s and grandson need you.
