Congrats on getting started Day. Sorry you had the fever, headache and upset stomach. Take it easy and get lots of rest. A lot of people (myself included) take advil or tylenol about a 1/2 hour before the shot and also eat a good meal before- maybe that will help. You will have days that you dont feel so well and days that you feel pretty good. Heres to a gentle and successful journey.

We don\'t know how it will affect us till we get going, and it changes over time. I keep a journal of sides to share with dr & to try to determine a pattern (none). Drink the water, rest, lower your expectations because this is powerful medicine. Go with it.

Welcome to CLUB DRAGON SLAYER....lol....we pretty much all suffer the sides,. but it makes us stronger..... You have gotten some good advice....all I can say, is just listen to your body, and roll with it... Don\'t try to overthink it....it is what is. Good luck to you and CONGRATS.

I am glad the sides are bearable. Who knows maybe that will be the worst of it. I will definately pray that you have fewer and fewer sides.

One bit of advice, when you are ready to take your shot, go to bed afterwards, and you should be fine.
The sides usually starts later into treatment, but my RCN always told me, to take 2 advils at shot time, and go to bed, this way you hardly feel the effect of the interferon, which usually last 36 hours post shot.
In the beginning like this, you shouldn\'t feel sides, maybe minimal but nothing to worry about.
Well congrats on the first of your journey towards wellness.
