short journal - heavy rain and wind//catching up on paperwork//bored - another pregnant mom cat
raining super hard and windy. it should stop soon. trying to catch up on paperwork. would love to see that. doing nothing.
picked up meds at m's for the animals, and he had a prego that was going to be put down OR her babies aborted, she is due in two days. rn has an extra cage or extra bathroom, but it will need a real home. really need to find a proper foster home for it. any takers? lol. i think i'll call v and see if she wants to. she kept the entire batch last time and the mom and said it was the best decision she ever made. she still sends photos and it was 3 years ago. way before that was common. now they have posters encouraging people to do that.
hope i get all this done. really bored today after an entire morning of running around. grrrr. he's been a great help. i have become so skeptical though. because so many don't work out or there is always a new batch of rules and people. he says he needs volunteers to give out meds over there (300 animals at their pound). even if they have the meds and money for meds, the kennel people don't want to do that in addition to cleaning the kennel, so the animal doesn't even get their meds. so they are FINALLY treating some animals instead of automatic killing them, but the meds don't get to them. wonder if this kind of thing happens at clinics in third world countries for people when the charities go in there. bet it does. wish there was an answer. oh i know. mandatory and free spay and neuter tax.

well, the cat had FIVE kittens so far. don\'t have colors or sexes yet. the mother wasn\'t eating, so rn made her fresh flounder and she managed to eat that. i have pain meds, but am insure if i should give it to a mother cat? don\'t remember what this one is to look it up and see if its okay. not eating is normal after giving birth. she should be drinking water though. hopefully all is fine. rn says they are still wet and the mother is definitely exhausted. super firendly as well. hope it goes well. this was 9/4/2013 i think
