Short Acromegaly Version

After experiencing many acromegaly symptoms for well over 10 years (aging!!!???), I was finally diagnosed in March 2010. I had Sandostatin Lars shots until my September 2010 Transsphenoidal Surgery. I am currently in remission. However, I am in the 1 to 5% category because what was removed from my pituitary gland were many large hyperplasic cells (hyperplasia). The search is now on to find out what in my body is stimulating the pituitary gland to malfunction.
