Shopping Therapy helped!
I went bowling last night. My team won all four games. I bowled OK. I took some frustrations out on some pins. I got to vent all night to my teammates, also parents. I also stopped by a friend's house last night for a visit. Haven't seen her in months. So that was nice. David was gone all day today at the karate black belt test at Master Kwon's. So he was with good people all day. People I love and trust. People who are a good influence! And I went today and got my car washed, and bought a jr roast beef sandwich at Arby's and then went shopping at Walmart. Shopping therapy. I feel a lot better. Who would have known that spending money would make me feel better?
I did buy David some t shirts for $3 each that were really cool. He needed some for school. He really liked them. I also bought him a box of honey buns for $1. So he gave me a hug and thanked me and said he was very sorry for the argument and for everything that happened. So I am going to keep my mouth shut but I feel better. I found my Melatonin. $12 for 2 bottles. So I am going to start taking them tonight before bed to sleep better. Bought some really pretty placemats in the shape of leaves: red, yellow, orange, green. (Fall colors are my absolute favorite with red coming first.) Bought myself a couple of $3 work out shirts at Walmart and a pair of $9 work out capri lenth pants. Paul had a fit I spent so much money but I don't care. I also bought some food and Propel water and protein powder. He went to an auction today (local florist went out of business) and bought $100 worth of plants and crap. He got really good deals, and I personally don't care. But I bought stuff we needed! Sheesh!
Floors are in and 2 coats of polyurethane. BIL will be here beginning of week to begin putting cabinets in. After that, then counter top guys come and measure. Takes them 1 week to make the counter tops. Also, after lower cabinets are in, the flooring people come out to put final coat of polyurethane. So, no kitchen yet. I am putting hamburgers and hot dogs on grill tonight.
And Penn State won again today! Woo Hoo! Win number 397 for Coach Paterno!

I am so glad to hear you are feeling some better and what woman doesn\'t love shopping! Great therapy!
YAY for the bowling triumph! I used to go to the bowling alley with friends when I was a teenager. Never became that good at it, but it was relaxing and a break from academic pressure. Glad you bought all that good stuff and your son was pleased.
Shopping therapy aaaahhhh... lol ;-)
GLad things are turning around. Shopping therapy always a good things. bowling is a good active sport that helps with tension and being with friends is always t he best especially if they have kids to and understand what is going on.
Hope the melatonin works. It was great to read your journal.
Lots of hugs.
It sounds like you got a lot of good deal on your shoping trip. It is good therapy to go shopping.
