Shopping for My Mom

My mom's birthday is coming up next Sunday and I'm trying to figure out what to get her. It's hard... a lot of the things I'm looking at are at least $25 and shipping is $20. I don't have a lot of money, so that's a lot for me. I guess I should just get her a card and something. Maybe lotto tickets, lol, since we always get them for Christmas and stuff. I wish I had a lot of money and could get her flowers, but all the places want a lot of money for the delivery. I wonder if I could find someplace local to do it, but I don't know the town she lives in very well. I would love for them to be delivered to her work on Friday, but I don't know if she will be in that day. Sometimes she is out of the office on calls, so then she wouldn't get it. I know when it was my birthday in the office and my coworker came in with balloons and flowers it just made my day. I always wanted someone to do that for me. Geo doesn't really like giving flowers for some reason.
Other than that, today was a good day. I made it into work and got some stuff done. I didn't make as many appointments as I would have liked, but I was on hold for most of the day. Tiffany, the girl I was working for today, had given me the stuff she had put off doing because those doctors are the hardest to get in contact with. I don't mind doing that as long as I have something to do while on hold. I should have told her to teach me how to do the letters (each patient is sent a letter with their appointment time and date, and it has to be customized to each person) so I could do that while I was on hold. Oh well, maybe if I go in tomorrow I can have her do that.
You know how last night I was saying I should get something else to eat because I was low on calories? Well, I ate the kitchen. I had baby carrots with dressing, peanut butter straight from the jar, cereal.... I binged for the first time in a long time. I couldn't stop eating the cereal... it's so yummy! I finally stopped and didn't go too far over my calories, but I gained half a pound this morning so it showed. Tonight I had dinner a bit later and had a snack a little while ago. I'm not feeling like I'm going to binge unless I get near that cereal again. It's generic- it's called Honey Wheat Puffs. I don't know what cereal it's supposed to be, but it's so yummy. It's because the first ingredient is sugar.
Food today was good... I'm in my calorie range and everything, so that's good. I had my bagel with peanut butter for breakfast, mashed potatoes and gravy for lunch, and chicken teriyaki stir fry for dinner. I think I'm going to have a bit more peanut butter since I need a bit more protein and fat for today. I can eat peanut butter right out of the container... I love that stuff so much! After that, it's off to bed for me!

Yeah for such a upbeat journal. If you have time to search there are some internet stores that ship free. It is just taking the time to find one with something you like.

Rissa, sounds like you\'re doing well. I\'m so happy that the binge didn\'t put you into a depression, you just let it go and continued on. Great job, so proud of you.
I got into trouble with peanut butter right out of the jar at night.... just be aware, haha. Stay positive! You are doing it!!
