Shopping
Went shopping today. Need a walker for my surgery. Went to all 3 Walmarts in the area. All they had were fancy high priced models with features I don't need like a seat(like a seat that probably wouldn't hold me.) and a little carryall pouch. What I need is one with a basket. I carry 3 things with me to work every day,,,a cooler for my meal, a canvas bag for my thermos and various things like latex gloves and meds, and a portfolio for my erasable boards, markers, and note cards. The lowest price they had was almost $60 and the other one they had in stock was $120! That's too much to pay for something I won't use very long. I've found one online at Walmart for about $40 that's just right. Only problem us getting it here in time for the surgery. Will have to check on that. In other news, I finally figured out why Foxy's not sleeping with me. Figured it out last night.(about time!) She doesn't want to be in bed with me because I don't sleep. It took this long to figure out. I wake up too much so she's given up. At least when I start sleeping(pain keeps waking me up) she'll come back.
