Shooting the Shadows

It has always irritated me that I literally spend months and even years on a design project and all the applause goes to the five minute doodle I add on for no particular reason. Worse yet are the ones which were mistakes I never got around to editing out. Such is human nature. Repeat, you can argue with nature all you want, but there are more productive ways to use your time.
One of those irritations are the shadow shots in my photo journals. From time to time I snap a shot of an interesting shadow array for no particular reason. These would be the shots that seem to be getting the applause. Never mind th subject matter I  set out to cover.
So far I have mostly done sun shadows. Shooting moon and industrial shadows requires a tripod and special settings. Haven't gotten around to mastering those yet. Yet. The moon shadow shots I have done are blurry and out of focus. Haven't approached industrial shadows until tonight. Did a photo shoot of some of the shadowy gifts of the neighboring security lights tonight. First run. We see what grows.
