I went last Sat to the Shenandoah Caverns with my meetup group. Here are some photos. It is better than Luray Caverns. I think they are too commercial.

The first formation they call bacon, if you look at it you can see why.
The fourth colourful cavern is my favourite. The bacon one is cool too though where I do love my bacon, haha. I hope you’re enjoying all of your trips! Hugs!

It's amazing, how the caverns have formed :) i remember when i was a kid, and got one of those magic rocks set, where you add water, and these nice rock grow, it's neat and reminds me of these caverns grow :) Thank you for sharing your adventure, and pictures with us :) Your 2019 adventures are another great year of travels: )

Great pictures, Linda! Personally, I really enjoyed Luray, but since I've never been to Shenandoah, I can't compare the two. Hugs.
