Shelving the Faith

I'm putting my faith on the shelf for awhile.  I unsubscribed to all tarot reading videos online.  I'm always wanting and hoping those readings would guide me and give me hope and sometimes coincidentally I think they were true.  However, with the state I'm feeling right now, I don't feel like I have much faith in anything or anyone.  I'm a spiritual person but not religious.  I believe in having an open mind and feel absolutely anything is possible.  I guess I've just reached a point where I'm drained.  I'm just settling into my rut for awhile until I am inspired or convinced I'm suppose to move.

I've heard so much that if a person wants to make change they must make it themselves and yes..in some instances I believe that, but I do feel there are times where change is just unreachable, a person gets worn out and needs to chill.  That's where my current location is.  I think wed all like to know what our future holds, I only know this, I am not with the person I love, I am not in the place I wish to be, and I'm not surrounded with friends and loved ones and I can't help it right now.

If you enjoy watching you tube videos and if you have an open mind, watch the Abraham Hicks videos. I also recommend Paul Selig, Ivan Teller and Brad Johnson. All of them can help you change your life for the better.

God Bless

Shelving borrowed faiths is an important cornerstone in my own healing journey. Whatever the religion, anti-religion, spiritualism, etc., etc., it is not true faith until ^it^ comes from my own heart. Words irrelevant.

Am I hopelessly broken because my love, as well as the rest of my chaotic emotions, changes with the flows and stows of life? It's easier some days than others. On the days my trauma wounded heart is feeling its infections, love doesn't even seem possible.

Dunno. . . Maybe if I watch more chick flicks and/or youtube videos I'll gain my understanding of that mystery. Nah. . . Not today. Stomach's queasy. . .

Arfie...i know how you feel about being broken...I feel I have defective sticker everyone sees. How is it some are surrounded by so many and others like myself struggle to have anyone at all. I feel like a freak. I have been watching a lot of Law of Attraction videos and trying to listen to positive subliminal's while I sleep but I continue to fight loneliness. I almost stopped at the bar but reminded myself I'm on Day 4 of my diet and it does not include alcohol and realized again why I was doing it, to stop feeling the pain. But, one does not get immediate relief after a bad burn..I guess I just need to continue to feel the pain and try and find ways to work thru it instead of trying to find someone to fill the huge painful holes I have in my soul.

I fully believe my brothers and sisters on the AA side of the 12-step houses who tell me their addiction began as a solution they would have kept right on using if the side effects weren't so horrific. I would use that solution if my alcohol allergy allowed. Sigh. . . No fucking fair? ? ?

I don't know quite how, but we defectives do find one another. Takes one to know one, I s'pose. Alas, I want to know how it is that some of us are ABLE to be alone. I am one those people you envy and I would trade you in a heartbeat. The collective weight of all those people wanting me to solve their problems for them carries far more pain than comfort. It is downright crippling.when I let it get out of hand and exhausting to stay out of the way of. Healing hopes for all, even me after I've had to shake off the dead weight to keep from drowning in problems that are not mine to sort. Sorry, Toots. Healing is a do-it-yourself inside job. God forgot to give me power over that one. Gnarly Old Dickhead. . . Where's the magic wand I prayed for?!?!?! I promise to use ^it^ in Your Name.

Butttttttaaaaaaa. . . Back in that confusing time between naps (reality), when we defectives come together in the Peer Support Network with mutual support for individual problems, magic happens. Healing hopes for all. No exceptions. Pass ^it^ on.
