She seems to still be onboard....

I had been wondering what the wife was thinking about because she had not brought up anything about the transistion of our separation.  I have been working on getting things straight over at the place I am moving to and in the past she was giving me suggestions and providing input on it.  But for the last 5 or 6 days she had been very quiet about it and not talking about it.  Well last night and this morning we both referenced me living at my new place and some things that would happen in the future.  I do feel a bit of relief about that because I know she still is on the same page.  I love my kids so much and I want us all to be happy......I want to protect them from any pain.....but I know this has to continue to happen.

Maybe think of it this way...by doing what you are doing, you may be protecting them from pain. Kids don\'t like to see their parents unhappy. They (or you for that matter) might not see it yet, but the immediate pain of the announcement may just outweigh any future pain of \"staying together for the kids.\" Good luck...this is a momentous event in your lives. I know the kids are a concern as they should, but this is a momentous moment in YOUR life for YOUR happiness.
