She has to quit doing this to me :)
My daughter for the second time in two weeks called me in the middle of the night...no she wasn't in an accident again. But she has a friend who was living with an abusive husband and she needed a place to stay so my daughter (she is like me in so many ways) was going to go pick her friend up and keep her at her place for a few days. She was on a highway not knowing where she was going...she wanted me to tell her how to get to where this womanswas to pick her up. My daughter was in the wrong side of town @ 1:30 am and her cell died again. Of course I tried to call her over and over with no answer. I have to get her a second batter to her phone :) but in the end I told her to have her friend call family members to put her up. I really didn't want my 20 yo daughter to get mixed up in a family dispute..expecialy since they didn't know where her friends psycho husband was at. So after a few mins she called me back telling me she was heading home. SO I finally got to sleep and it was time to go to work..god it is good to be a parent...the worrying and sleepless nights wondering what they are going to do next. NOT!!!! no I am just glad I have the kind of relationship where my kids even at 20 and 23 call me to say "I love you" and "good night" I make it a plan every few days to call and tell them I miss them and make plans to see them as often as I can. This is hard because they hate my W but you make do and have fun with them. For all of the trials and tribulation they put me through i have to say I am so glad they are mine :) You never know when you will see your family next so I make sure when I am with them that I hug them and tell them "I love you" Yes I am glad nothing happend to her but little things like last night make me happy for the "quiet times" where my heart isn't racing. For all who view this journal I send you peace and know you are in my prayers.
