Shakes
I've got the shakes this morning, from the wrinkles in my forehead to the fidgets in my toes with leaks and purges in between. Yucko bucko, it doth sucko. Feels almost like it could be a flu bug, but my strictly personal herstory makes me believe it be stress aches. Decompression aches? The yaddahs of the blahs which led up to the decision to commit to primary care of the GKs for at least the coming school semester have been mind-fucky, to put it mildly, but the decision is made on all parts and the gory details have been worked out up to the official transfer which will happen before the end of semester this Friday. Time to decompress on the decision making process and *just* do the do. Just. . . Can I *just* run off screaming into the sunset now?
Hubs and I were rather cranky with one another yesterday. We are rather proud of ourself that neither of us volleyed the crank snipes. In place of the tit-for-tat volleys, we mostly gave one another processing space in between assurances that the transition was going well. This is a good window for each of us to work on our own strictly personals in preparation for the major changes due to hit this weekend.
As of Sunday afternoon when Daddy escorted his children onto the train back to the urban homestead, GS was still oposed to the idea of changing schools. We applauded his loyalty and fell back on the awareness that Winter Vacation is 3 weeks long and the plans for him to spend the vacation here were already in place. We have time to let him process the change at the speed of a 5 year old. At least, that's my prayer and I'm sticking to it.
Guit-chi Report: Just let the notes flow. I believe I'm holding steady.

Gentle hug sweetie..... Do you have a prn to take for severe anxiety??…. If you don't would you want to ask you doc for one for a short term??
It wouldn't surprise me if you aren't coming down with something but I sure hope not
It's great that you and hubby didn't take the stress out on one another.... It's an awful lot for you and for the kids in the way of changes
Another hug..... You remain in my prayers....xo
My most used prn is aspirin. An advantage of not using many drugs is that it doesn't take much when I do need them.
Now that you reminded me. . . Might indeed be helpful.
I ditto what Jan said about you and hubby! Also, glad you remembered "your' prn'...could I also add some Gatorade/water to keep your fluids up/ph balanced...dehydration is a no no Huge in my book of health...self care all the way … Bless You/hubby for what you are about to undertake!
The reminder still works, ML. Hydration is not on my self-abuse list, but diet is. I tend to starve myself when I stress out.
Having a Schlotzky's original for lunch as I type. Yea, I know. I should be concentrating on lunch, but. . .
Works in progress. . .
