Shades Of Gray

Here today, gone tomorrow,
     Your head fills with sorrow,
Faces pass,
     fewer, fewer,
     each day,
These People, these "friends",
     become shades of gray,
Emptiness fills crowded hallways,
     no trust,
     no friends,
     no feeling,
     no change,
This place is awfully strange,
     we are all the same,
     in this shade of gray,
In the dead of day,
     what can I say? ,
Today is the tomorrow of yesterday,
     all I see are shades of gray,
Why do I feel so different?
     Why don't I want to stay?
The black of night,
     shines through the light of day,
CREATING,     the new,
     the better,
     the stronger,
SHADE OF GRAY.
