Sh*t happens

Another day another night of disturbed sleep.  Appointment with doctor on Monday about this continuing leg infection.  Planning to hit the panic button with them.  It's now got me emotionally strung out and lack of sleep combined with the pain is making me snappy with people - specially those I REALLY care about - and that makes me angry.  Fighting to keep emotions under control is a pain in the butt.  Have been silly and during nights of no sleep have been reading some gay romances and that's not helping, but I am hooked and don't want to stop.  Found myself crying at 3am as I was reading - perhaps I am just a big old softie who doesn't let the right emotions out at the right time.  Concerned about my leg, concerned about my other half who has to have an operation next month, concerned about business, concerned about Dad.

Won't let it take over my life.  I have worries about HIV under control and if I can deal with that then anything else is a walk in the park.

Shit happens - so F**KING what.  The sun is shining and the forecast is for some nice weather.  Easter is just round the corner.  Woke to the sound of lambs bleating in the field outside again this morning - so life goes on and there are loads of reasons to be happy and upbeat.  Gardener is due to come in a couple of weeks to landscape the back garden and that will mean we have something else to enjoy.  Just need to get my emotions sorted and not let them screw me up.

To anyone reading this - don't worry, it's just another way of me venting frustrations and getting things "out of my system".  Beats banging my head against the wall *grin*.  I know what I'd like to do - but that is not for these pages (hehehe - best friends will know what I mean and will know that hint means I am OK really.....)

To those who have been in touch recently with comments about my posts - THANK YOU - it means a hell of a lot to have heard from you.  I post to try to help others through my experiences and because I have had some AMAZING support from AMAZING people over the years - perhaps this is a small way I can give something back.

Right - time to crack on with the day - another busy one ahead so.... head down and CHARGE !!!!

xx

I\'ve been grateful over the years for amazing support as well. It defines me too. I wouldn\'t feel right if I couldn\'t give back in some way. Your a staple here Bear, nothing less. I\'m thinking of you & hoping all is well w/ your leg. Thank God we have a few months break of bone chilling cold & snow. I\'m pale guy, I hate that :)

Am going to finish up a bit early today - head home to chill out in about an hour hopefully. Other half wont be home til late so time on my own....

I tend to resort to a sun bed sesh about once a month - minimal risk if keep it irregular like that and it always make me look and feel much better.
