Settling Back Into Pleasant Routine
My backup camera's microphone failed (no sound from either the camera's built-in mic or when I plug in an external mic). I wanted to drop the camera off at a local repair shop on Monday so that it'd be fixed and ready for use again this Friday, when I've got two more weddings to shoot, Friday and Saturday, but the repair guy was down in Miami, inundated with other equipment repairs, and wouldn't be back up in his Pompano office until today, Wednesday, so I had no choice but to wait until today, Wednesday, to drop my camera off. He said he's backed up with some other repairs before he can get to my camera, so he asked when I need the camera. I told him before Friday would be great, because it's my backup camera, and otherwise I'll have no backup camera if the main camera fails, but he can't get it done by then, so fingers crossed...God willing, my main camera will work just fine and I can pick up the second camera next week. Praying for a smooth weekend...
Meanwhile, off to work security at a fairly quiet, organized place that I like. Shouldn't be any problems. And, more good news, there's enough money in checking to cover all living expenses plus the above camera repair and a car repair I'd like to have done (the gas tank causes the gas pump at the gas station to shut off after I've pumped only a few dollars worth of gas into the gas tank, even though the gas tank is nowhere near full; then, once the gas tank is full, the engine has difficulty starting). I'm anticipating at least a $400 car repair bill there and the money will be there to cover it by the end of the month. Feels good to have adequate money to cover everything! Feels comfortable and empowering! Gonna continue to work, hustle, to keep it going!
Until next entry, oeur e vous!

I am glad to hear things are working out! Yes, having money does help, cause if you don\'t, you have to use credit.
And credit sucks, \'cause then we\'re only borrowing from our own future blood, sweat and tears! Thanks, Ashley.
