SET TO BE ENDUCED
ok. dr appt today. last week i was 75% effaced and dialated to about 2cm.this week? not much changed. 80% and still 2, maybe 2.5, so little progress. they set the date to be enduced for friday the 27th if she doesnt come out on her own by then. its ok. good news is, i get another ultrasound on monday! yay. i like ultrasounds.... i want to see her again. so she cant come out till monday now. i want more pictures. geesh. i am SOOOO tired. i hope i can sleep. it just HURTS. my hips hurt, tailbone, backbone... then my puppy is AWFUL the past couple days. lol. i love her, i know this is alot for her to handle too. moving and all the new people, new rules. but she is usually so AMAZINGLY good, she been acting out the past couple days, not coming when called, and she even POO POO in the house... twice!!! the first time since we moved. chewing on shoes, getting paper from teh bathroom or garbage and chewing it up. bad timing for her to act like a normal puppy. she never did any of those things really. she still a good girl though, i love her. i have this stupid stye in my eye!!! geesh. i wish there was a way to make it go away before friday. im going to look bad enouch for pictures after the baby and during.. ive had this thing for over a month now.... it wont go away. its like someone shot me in the eye with a bb gun, and the bb got stuck. i even dream about it, i dreamed it went away, and woke up like yay, then found out it was still there, depressing. lol. ok i quit blabbing on, im so tired. wish me luck if i dont write again till after baby born.

OK....get some baby shampoo, lather it up on a washcloth, and scrub the lid and then rinse... then put the wet washcloth in a plastic ziploc bag and heat it in the microwave until as warm as you can tolerate it. Hold this on your eye with the stye for 15 mins (it stays warm inside the bag)....then remove the bag and push and massage around on the stye with a clean finger to see if you can get it to \"pop\" and start draining. Do this several times a day if possible.....Otherwise, an antibiotic such as cephalexin may be necessary! (Worst case scenario, can be surgically removed by an ophthalmologist)
Drac... a month is a long time to have a stye.
I wish you the best on delivering your baby. You sound so excited. You will be a good mommy. I was a single mommy to my first son for about 10 years (way back when I was in my late 20\'s). He and I are best friends today. Grew up a fine young man. Is now a journeyman electrician.
Will be thinking about you. debs
Poor Eye ;)
My son-in-law has one of those, he\'s been to the doctors for it, I\'m not sure what they did for him. Some help I am! lol DianneE gave you some good info on what to do. I remember when I was a kid, one of my friends told me her grandma said to put your first spit of the morning in your eye, for a stye! Please don\'t think I\'m recommending that! lol Your stye just reminded me of that crazy remedy! Don\'t you worry about pic\'s with the baby, you\'re both gonna\' look beautiful! I went 2 weeks past my due dates with both my kids, I was miserable! With my 2nd they induced labor. Not fun! But it got the job done :)
Thinking of you, anxious for you, you\'re gonna\' love this being a mom thing! I know I do :) And you\'re naughty puppy! My little guy (toy poodle) will do naughty things out of no where, sometimes, too. And he\'s the worlds best dog! lol Dogs are people, too! lol I can\'t wait for the news that your little one is here :)
Take it slow...lots of love, Robin
So excited to hear that your baby is coming soon!!! So sorry to hear about the sty thing but there is nothing more beautiful than a pic of a momma and newborn. God\'s miracle! Enjoy the moment and take it in. I am sure you are uncomfortable right now. I know I was with my second a boy. Sounds like your priorities are in order and that is awesome Love God=love yourself=love that baby !! Enjoy!!
Possibly today or tomarrow.... started having cramps today... nothing to severe... but MAYBE.
i do want her to wait till monday though, lol i want pics.
DianneE\'s remedy should work, if not a funky eyepatch may be in order.....I\'m guessing those \"cramps\" are signs the small person is on her way....watch the sty sweetie...don\'t touch it too much and wash your hands if you do, just in case any infection gets near baby.....love, light and peace.
All the doctor\'s had to do was say they were going to induce me and voila, I was in labor! I wish you the best! Looking forward to seeing pics of you two - sty or no sty - they\'ll be beautiful!
