Everything is going ok with me. I had company for a week and that went fine. But now, I have that sinus/flu thing going around. Coughing and hacking every few minutes. I knew I wasn't feeling well when I had to drop him off to meet his friend in Erie PA. I knew something as wrong when I woke up Sat morning with a scratchy throat. We went to Niagara falls for the day on friday and it was extremely windy but warm, so I wonder if that was it. I was suppose to work Sunday morning and evening but I couldn't even get out of bed and stayed home the rest of the day. Just feeling kinda blah. loading myself up with Vit C now.
Mom had her knee surgery. Discharged on Saturday morning and was transported to the rehab facility. Went to see her on Sunday for a short visit (dropped grandma's laundry - also a quick visit). She looked good. Had therapy both sat and sunday. Now she's getting therapy twice a day. Not sure when she's getting out but I am sure soon. I will call in a day or two to see if she's still there. For now, I need to stay away until I feel better.
Gotta get that 24 hour urine culture test (this one is fasting and he wanted another one before I see the neph on the 28th) but with me being sick with this horrible sinus thing, I might have to post pone it for a week. In the meantime, I need to stay far away from everyone until I get rid of this. Could be a week or 2. Depends.
Dad has some sort of skin cancer. He went to the doctor/surgeon at a hospital in Dunkirk but had to return today to get it cut out. They will biopsy it. I am sure it will take 3-5 days for the results. I will let everyone know the outcome He also has horrible pit edema (swelling/water retention) on his feet. Hope he gets that taken care of.
Uncle dick is doing good. Mom said that he went to church sunday with my cousin Patty. Thats good news. He won't be cleared to drive until the end of next month.
My friend Jen will find out tomorrow if she has breast cancer. she had a biopsy and ultrasound done. I will go with her for moral support. I offered - so I will pick her up tomorrow from the hospital she works at (she's a mental health nurse at VA hospital buffalo). Her appt is at 5:30pm. I have been there before and picked her up. I am nervous for her.
I am scheduled to work another Target Inventory on Wed. I will just have to see how I feel tomorrow. I named that target inventory, targetitis. mostly because I start the inventory at 10pm and don't finish until 5am. that store wipes you out for 5 days. You can only contract targetitis if your up doing a target inventory until 5am.
