Its been quite a while since I did a journal. Not much going on. Seems like things go from one day to the next. No excitement. work, eat, sleep - so on and so forth.
I am having company this week. A friend of mine from Oregon. Should be fun. Hopefully it will get me out of this stagnet funk I am in. I definitely need to have company and laugh. Its only until the 25th. we all know how visitors can be, I think I will be passing out by the time he leaves. Got somethings planned but many of my friends have already started school, work and lives just get in the way. We shall see what happens day by day.
I checked my BP today. We had PCA classes and the nursing instructors were teaching BP to the Personal Care aides. I do have good news! My bp went down to 114/70. Isn't that fabulous. The lisinopril is working its magic. I didn't have any symptoms such as lightheadedness like the pharmacist told me. Just keep going with the meds. At least the pharmacist where I get my lisinopril it only costs $4.00 (the tamoxifen costs $9.00).
I am doing this contest at my hospital system. Its a walking one. I don't think I would win the most steps but it should be fun to figure out how many steps I do. The contest starts on monday. At the end of the work day, I am suppose to put my steps in the "walking" step contest website. I think a nurse will probably win because I sit allday at work. Should be interesting. The contest ends on Oct 1.
Anyways, everyone have a wonderful day. Wish I had more to say but I don't. Thats not a bad thing though.

I like the Lisinopril also...does a good job. My wife is an RN so she watches me as far as normal stuff goes. She was an ER nurse when I met her, I took a pt into the ER and there she was! A friend told me she was moving to Colorado in 6 weeks so I better move fast. I did, we married and moved together! lol That was 35 years ago, they gave us a year at best...fooled them!
I was excited to hear about the BP too. Never knew such a little pill with a low dose can bring it down. It wasn\'t that high to begin with. Anyways...Denny! thats a nice story. Thanks.
