Senior Night

Tonight was the last home game for the Basketball players of the class of 2012.  My grandson was one of those boys.  Between the Jr. Varsity and the Varsity game, they recognized the senior players and called out their parents to join them on the gym floor.  When they announced my grandson's name and his parents, they said, the late Michael Denton and I broke down. 
Jacob was 10 when his dad was killed in 2005.  Now, he is a senior and going to college this fall.  I was very, very proud of him.
