Senior Citizen

I became a Senior Citizen this week!  I did have a scare while walking home from uptown though on my birthday.  I was crossing the street and I had the pedistrian's signal so I proceeded to cross the street.  I got a few steps onto the street and a pickup truck was turning and didn't see me.  Fortunaetly she stopped and I stopped in time.  I usually watch the traffic but this time I was looking at the go signal, so I've learned my lesson, even though I have the right of way! 
Anyway, our son-in-law is working in Nunavit on an island in the Hudson Bay, wiring houses, so it is an exciting time for him.  He'll work for 2 weeks and back home for 2 and then back up north for 6 weeks.  He says that it's a different world up there!
My husband is doing okay and his Parkinson's is about the same.  The Botox treatments are helping his eyes and I'm not as nervous when he drives now.
