The sadness I am feeling is getting so overwhelming, I don't know how to get it to stop, My heart is hurting remembering all the good times that I had with my friend and I just let the friendship slip away, I will never be able to hear his laughs again, the feeling of being safe. The depression making me feel that he never really did care about me he just felt sorry for me, but its not true, it can't be true! is it true? Nothing makes sense anymore, I hardly recognize the person in the mirror, I despise the person that I have become, but that person is me. I have no choice, I have to get better completely, I don't want to lose anyone else, I want to feel the warmth of the sun on my face again, I want to feel alive again, but how can I when my friends and family that died were the ones that made me feel like I was alive. How do I live without them? I have no choice, I have to. But am I strong enough?

Yes Rae, you're strong enough to get through all of this. The loss of a loved one is horrific. I have experienced that in my lifetime. I find it comforting to not only remember the great times, but to also (when alone) talk with them. I say alone so people don't think I'm having a conversation with someone who isn't there. While we may never meet, don't hesitate to consider me a friend. Yes at my age I've had many life experiences, maybe some of those can help you get through. I don't have all the answers, but I'm more than willing to help. Life isn't easy, but it's well worth living.
