Security Gate Incident #1 Latest
The woman who claims I closed the gate on her car is now claiming this small scratch or dent caused $2,200 damage to her car! No investigation into whether she is telling the truth by the security company, no demanding to see a receipt and then a follow-up call to her shop to verify its accuracy. And now my last paycheck is two days late. I suspect they're now withholding my pay to pay this alleged, possibly imaginary bill, more like extortion.
I'm going to check the mail for my paycheck Monday. If it still has not arrived, I'm going to, as calmly as possible, call my employer to kindly ask them what's going on. If they're now withholding my pay, I will be resigning from this job next week, folks. Then, if they decide to sue me for this alleged amount of money, they will HAVE to force this woman to produce a legitimate invoice, which probably isn't any more than $400, which I would pay, to get this over with so we can all move on. At least, if I quit, then the security company won't get any more free labor from me.
