Season changes...owies begin
Ahhh, yes. It is coming. Yep! Winter is definately getting ready to kick my butt as it does every year. I have done well, other than just a few major flares this spring and fall. Things are about to change tho. I already am feeling the familiar pain in my neck and shoulders that seems to grab hold of me and hang on thru the cold days and nights of fall/winter. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all look forward to winter like we did when we were children? I tried last year to keep a good attitude about winter. I don't think it helped a whole lot, but hey maybe it did and I should be thankful I didn't feel worse than I did. (Although I think I would have had to die to feel better! Lol!) Anyway, life does continue on, whether I do or not! Lol! I am going to try to learn to quilt here pretty soon. Maybe that'll keep my mind occupied with something besides my pain. I still think part of the trick to helping control this stuff is to stay as busy as you can, without pushing yourself into a flare, of course. I know there are days that we can hardly move, much less keep busy. But, keeping busy doesn't always have to be being physically moving around. I think being busy can be mentally busy also. Heck who knows, maybe if we keep our minds busy, we can keep the fog at bay a bit too. THAT would be a great thing, wouldn't it. Well, hubby has woke up and headed to the bedroom to go back to sleep, and I am thinking that might be a good idea. Hope all is well for everybody, and that the weather changes are not being too tough on you all. Gentle hugs to you all!
