scrubbing freinds list...
so i was looking over my friends list and i'm gonna start scrubbing it. deleting friends that don't talk to me anymore or have not made ANY contact. i don't see the purpose of requesting my friendship if you aren't actually gonna be my friend. it's just confusing me to have all these names & avatars and i don't even know who they are or why they don't respond to me. so if you happen to be one of them (that got deleted) and and you are searching for answers, you have found it.
in other news....
mom has gotten much better at using the crutches and is now going to the bathroom with out using the potty chair. me and a friend of mine put a safety hand bar in the shower for her down stairs (from Home Depot, since Medicare wont return her calls about it) and i changed out the shower head as well. we will do the toilet area next.
Adi flew out back to Colorado Apr 14th... i really didn't want to see him go. his help was really appreciated!
my ex has called last week sobbing saying sorry over and over again for walking out on me and for all he has caused. he said he missed me and hinted at wanting me back. he paused like i was supposed to return the feelings, but i never gave him the satisfaction. i don't want him back! ever since then he has been trying every angle to cause drama in my life (guilt trips, etc) to try and get me back. i'm not taking the bait. and in fact, he has only pissed me off really bad to the point that i'm going to tell him to leave me alone for good.
one last thing.... my hips have been hurting me since Feb. i'm not sure if it's just another fibro thing or arthritis. so i'm gonna ask my doc to have em Xrayed.

Glad to hear about your mom. That is great news! I\'m sure it makes her feel that she has more independence. I did a delete of friends last month. People that haven\'t been on in months and ones that don\'t keep in touch.
Glad you aren\'t going back with your ex. You deserve better than that.

I agree about the ex - NEVER - go Backwards into a relationship that you left, there are always the same problems and more (spoken from year of experience). And yes, should should tell him to leave you alone for good - give them an inch and they will take a mile, and there is obviously something about him that first attracted you.
How does your dr tell what is arthritis vs fibro? I swear I have arthritis in my fingers and toes but my rheumy says its not just fibro.. All my other drs are great but him - Im stuck with him and I think he thinks because I am 42 I cant have arthritis, has never xrayed me but my fingers and toes are like bent.

and as far as fibro vs. arthritis... it\'s simple, if abnormalities show up on the Xrays, MRIs / CTscans then it\'s arthritis. if nothing shows then it\'s probably fibro.
I\'m glad your mom seems to be coming along with the crutches. I would imagine that they would be hard to get used to. They would hurt until the arms get used to them.

Sweetie you should tell him but then you need to stop taking his calls, or answering the door when it\'s him - just cut him off. You have the power to put him out of your life - you just need to do it. He\'s taken enough from you and given you plenty of stress in return. You can\'t get back all the time you wasted with him thinking you had something that would last - don\'t give him any more.
So glad your mom is doing well and making progress - you\'ve done a great job of taking care of her - now take some steps to take care of you!

I left for more than a year. A year later I am seeing many inactive people. Its not that they log on, they don\'t. I\'m hoping they just have no reason to log on more than they found this site only made them worse.
