Score two for the ladies

Much as I hate to admit it, the Nurse Practitioner may have known what she was talking about. Finally following her advice, I rested for the last day and kept my foot elevated. Today the swelling in my foot is way down just as she said it would be. (Lucky guess!!) Now my foot is almost normal looking. I have been able to see a lot of sports because of my restrictions so it hasn't been all bad. The only downside is that I have to leave beer alone. There's good and bad in everything I guess.Oh well, I still have my big screen TV and my easy chair. Life is good.On the asthma front, I THOUGHT that I was doing very well. My wife ,though, thought that I was breathing funny. I tested my peak flow and, sure enough, it was down. I took a breathing treatment and felt better and my peak flow was again green. I was surprised at the drop because I felt OK. So now the ladies are two for two. What a predicament. Now there will be no living with them. I would like to say that I'm doing well...but what do I know. I'll have to ask my wife... and the Nurse Practitioner.Be well,Tom

Isn\'t that the way it always is....the women know best :) At least you have learned to listen to your wife.

It seems very hard for you to sit still for any length of time. See how much better it is when you listen to the ladies .
