School .....08/15/13
Today was the first day of school and I survived!
I learned that I need to be there a little earlier then I thought since we START serving lunch at 11 am and instead of like 5 after.
Otherwise, my time went pretty well I thought. It took a little to get back into the swing of things but I finally did.
GD came through the lunch line and was well behaved during lunch today. I just hope that lasts all year along!
The only big surprise was getting a phone call while I was out of town to the doing errands with hubby. Son's GF called to say, " I didn't see GD get off the bus like she was suppose to do!" So GF and babysitter made a bunch of phone calls, They finally located her. Normally it wouldn't have been super bad but it was raining out today so that added to the concern. When I got home it didn't seem like it had phased her at all since she was where she was suppose to be I guess the whole time.
I got my INR checked today since our insurance ends tonight. I think it was crappy on the company's part that they ended the insurance at midnight on the day the guys got laid off. IT doesn't really give us much choice in what we are going to do for insurance. It is suppose to take like 30 days to find out the cost to COBRA the insurance also!!
Sore, achy, and stiff....just another day in paradise here! LOL Of course, we had a huge rain storm move through the area this afternoon which I am certain didn't help things much at all.
So tomorrow...Friday.. I am the only one going to work. Hubby is now officially laid off from work, gd doesn't have school tomorrow and GF is home with the baby. I bet it will be an interesting day at the house. Glad I have to work!
