Scared to talk to teachers

I feel like the worst adult ever. I'm a sophomore in college and I'm afraid to talk to professors and other faculty members about anything. I feel like I never know what to say, so when I need help, I feel stuck. How are people so good at talking and confronting others? I feel like I'm such a huge baby and a coward...
