saw thorobreds don't cry with ronald sinclair//dinner out with j and a//hope store
exhausting day and long week. was at k's until 4 a.m. watching "thorobreds don't cry" couldn't resist. Ronald Sinclair is in it and he's supposed to be a dead ringer for steven when steven was young. he is. i had never really heard of him, in this movie, he is a young teen. surprise surprise. so 29 years later i finally bother to watch a movie with him in it. though back then it would have been trickier to look up a movie and in the 90's i wouldn't have bothered, way too busy. cracked me up though. he's an actor who was in movies with mickey rooney and as a small kid was in the movie a christmas carol. its a shock when you see that though. doesn't apply to now at all. we are all old now. lol.
had the a/c fixed at the other house. then went back to pull two of the kittens who are too thin and brought them to rn's. brought her kittens who are getting large in to be fixed. there were four other's there alone, all of whom need bottlefeeding and a mom with babies. so it also makes cages. no end in sight. one of the girls was saying the same as us, seems like more this year and pure breds aren't being adopted because everyone is broke. very sad.
ate some more cake at k's. picked up a and went with a and j to steak and shake and did not get numb spots. so does that mean their food is pure? i don't even know. time to start reading labels everywhere. j was in good humor. he is using the boat again. don't remember what else i did this week. dyed my hair. went to the hope store and bought more hair dye and breads. that place isn't cheap anymore so its not as much fun as it used to be. certain things are still worth it, but mostly its like a dollar general but all bump and dent. grrrr.
went to a book sale. wish i wouldn't, i have too many now. super hot lately, 90's even in the evening its hot until 2 a.m. or so. wow. used revolution and pronyl on all the animals.

*hugs* Weather sucks. We get thunderstorms and hot, humid weather. I can\'t imagine how you feel. I hope you can find homes for your kitties!
yeah, we used to do soooo much adoption! we hit the 900 number total for adoptions, for all the years doing this, a couple of years ago and it would have been a good time to switch tracks and start working on changing the law. keep hoping others will take care of that, like sororities, frats and their alumnis nationwide - there are long arms there. but i thought the same with abortion laws converting to frozen embryo back in 1989 and that is still sitting and i thought the same with getting out the amerasian kids in viet nam. france went in and got their\'s and usa as late as 1990 didn\'t get theirs. they still haven\'t. sometimes you have to do it yourself or try to. you wonder, didn\'t anyone work on any of this. with the abortion thing, they claim its the worst in texas and large states, similar to how it was in the 60\'s. disaster.
after 11 years of doing rescue, you feel tired. then you see the animal and the animal DOES want to live, and they are going to die on their own or in a shelter where they kill them. all living things want to live. so you cave.
but its like the adage, living the same year over and over for 75 years is not \"living\". you feel cornered kind of. people that do emotionally draining jobs full time, even if they are paid, doesn\'t it get to them?
