Saw PCP Doc today

I just had my annual check up.  I first pushed it back, as I was expecting to have surgery soon, but with all the little details added up, I was not sure when the date would be.  The nurse really wanted me to talk with my PCP so I made a date.  I half hoped that she would say I did not need this, but reality says I do.  It was a good check up, and there are a few follow ups I still have to do with her.  She did say she has another patient that is 6 months post op, and she is off her blood pressure meds.  Also insulin, but that is her, not me.  I hope to resolve quite a few issuses, either directly weight related, or side effects from the meds to treat high blood pressure.   She does want me to follow up with her, a few months down the road.  This does seam a little more real now that I am posting and journaling about this.
