Saturday, Sunday, Mabon...

"Never look down to test the ground before taking your next step; only he who keeps his eye fixed on the far horizon will find the right road." – Dag Hammarskjöld I am doing a lot better since my last journal entry which is great because during that time of hurt I learned a lot about myself, grew even more in my journey to healing, and have a renewed vigor to keep trying no matter what in every aspect of my life.  The weekend has been a nice one. Husband and I spent the day on Saturday doing a little shopping and had brunch at this place called The Corner Bakery. It has everything from fresh baked goods to soups, sammiches, and deli style stuff. We had never been there so imagine my Husbands surprise when I told him I would like to go there when he suggested it. I have come a long way in that area because for the longest, due to my anxiety and panic attacks, we could only go to a set amount of “safe places”. Well, all day yesterday we went to places I never been or places far away from the 30 minute radius from our house. I loved it!  We got back from our morning out, husband had a small nap and then we went out to mow. So, we ended up getting the yard chores done for the weekend. :D  Today I am not sure what we have slated. I do know I need to iron his work clothes for the week and I would like to prepare a nice Sunday dinner. I haven’t decided on what to make yet but its early!  Tomorrow is Mabon (the fall equinox) and I have no clue what I am going to do for that see as how I start back to school with my last class that day. If I have time I think I will make a small feast for Husband and I then say a prayer of thanks. I think that’s all I am going to have time for. :( I hope everyone is well! ~Bright Blessings~Rea
