Hello world. I am back.

I finally got the genomic testing done and the feed back as well. I am sensitive to the side effects which I already knew. I have a short uptake serotonin wise. The NP explained that what I needed to do was start the one med that showed to be best for me at a low dosage and try to work through the side effects which should be slight. So far she is right. Have had some nausea, the usually sleeping around the clock and some aching muscles but that is all. I just took my tenth dose. I see her again next week to see how I am doing. Okay so far. No mood change. But I am wondering, after being 'down' for so long how would I really know if I had a mood boost?
My daughter and grandson have been doing well. Right now we have them seeing the family therapist alone to learn some skills and I am seeing a counseling on my own. I have already learned some new aspects to the family unit I hadn't known before. So I feel pretty good about that.
Am working on being more positive and trying to get out more.
Until next time......
