Saturday ... chili cheeseburger soup

Today was a good day.... it has been raining.... 

But I got out the sewing machine and started making a mug rug and lost inspiration... I have some Christmas material but I really don't like it. It's not cute. And I'm just not in the mood for Christmas stuff... it's too early for me. 

Hubby and I went to  eat at a restaurant we really like and then to a movie. It was a cute movie, but we both have a hard time sitting thru a movie... I don't know why. I can sit and teach for that long... but I just can't sit and "watch"... i get too ansy. and uncomfortable. I guess that's one reason we don't go to movies much. But we did enjoy the big screen. We saw Jack Black in "The Clock in the Wall". 

Then we went to Hobby Lobby.... I am wanting to make some mug rugs but different than ones ... So i walked around until I found some inspiration..... I've decided to do some cactus mug rugs in greys, white and greens. I've already found some very cute cactus sayings and clip art picks.  I think it willl be fun. 

Hubby and I walked about a mile after getting home. It was nice to stretch our legs after the movie and eating. .... 

Quite a cloudy day. 

I think I will make chili cheeseburger soup for supper with a big salad. It is always very good. Yum
