Saturday, and we had the first snow of winter overnight
Good morning journal, the time is now 8:44am,I have been awake since 8:10am when Buttons and Caesar woke both my wife and myself simultaneously,it was like a two pronged attack from either side, they're ganging up on us now!. We both got up and I opened the back door into our rear garden only to find that it had snowed overnight, the first of wintertime,it is a bit early this year which usually means that we are destined for a long hard winter, but the dogs loved it,until their paws got wet and cold, they then came running back to the house to be dried and have their feet wiped. My wife takes care of drying them as I can't bend over for long, well I can,but there's a good chance I'll end up sprawled on the floor beside the dogs,it doesn't look too graceful, and I have a hell of a job getting up again!. I managed to get to the bank yesterday, they told me to come back Monday or Tuesday with a means of identification to prove who I am,they will then make an appointment for us to set up the new account,so I'm fairly happy that I managed to get that in the pipeline, one less thing on my list of things to do. My muscles are aching and tired,a result no doubt of my exertions at the gym, well at least it proves to me that something is working,no pain no gain right?. I will actually miss going to the gym this week,I've surprised myself by really enjoying the classes, but I can't be in two places at once, and the appointments with the urology clinic and my doctor are necessary,so I will just have to content myself until the following week when I can once again return to the class. I am a little disappointed that when the six week course is finished there is no sort of follow up class where I could go to continue my recovery, gym membership is an expense we can't afford,I have a small set of hand weights at home, but being part of a class means that you are part of a group of like minded people all striving to get a little better and I like that,it gives a person the little extra nudge to keep going, even when your muscles are sore,it's that feeling of,"if you can do it,I can do it",know what I mean?. When I sit and remember all the misfortunes and downfalls I've had in my life,I really wonder that I'm still alive at all,I've been blown up,lost my hearing and the sight of one eye as a result, fallen from scaffolding at a height of thirty feet and bounced, escaping with nothing more than superficial cuts and bruises,my liver began to fail in 2002 and I was in hospital where I lost 49 pounds in weight in ten days, leaving me with scarring and cirrhosis, had a T.I.A. in 2010,a mini stroke which has left me weaker on my left side, been diagnosed with asthma,COPD,Emphysema, and am awaiting an appointment for a second brain scan,I have severe clinical depression with psychosis,I hear voices that nobody else hears, suffered the loss of a child,so,all in all,I don't think that I'm doing too badly in still breathing at all. When you throw in my diabetes and my arthritis, you could say that I'm somewhat of an enigma,a walking miracle, when I'm able to walk that is,but I'm still here, okay,I'm on a daily cocktail of drugs that help to keep me functioning up to a point,I'd rather not be taking so many, but they are necessary and I know this,so I continue to pop my sixteen or seventeen pills a day, venlafaxine is my latest addition after seeing my psyche doc,and my three inhalers keep me breathing, albeit at a reduced rate of power, but,I am alive, there are sometimes when I wish I wasn't,when my days are at their darkest, but I am,and I try to manage the best way I can,in my life there is one constant,my wife,I have no doubt that without her,I would have given up long before now,she simply refuses to let me,and she and our faith in a loving God get me and us through most things we encounter in a day. Hopefully, things will improve for us,if the disability finally gives us a favorable decision,if my wheelchair finally gets here,if we finally manage to get the debt relief order in place,.....if,that's one small word, but to us,it has a huge meaning, let us hope that "if" becomes "when" before too long. Anyway, that's enough of my rambling for now,I am going to join my wife for coffee, one more day Jesus, one more to get through,Thy will be done Father, may we be blessed by Your love and peace this day, onward we go.

Wow It really does seem early for snow...at least the dogs liked it :) Glad to hear your enjoying the therapy classes and you feel it\'s helping you physically and mentally. There has to be a government program that will prolong the classes for you. They have to know your not in need of minor conditioning but a major overhaul do to your weakness and muscle atrophy.Might this be something your new social worker could arrange for you? It seems so wrong that they have you on so many scripts,I worry with such a mix might be subtly poisoning your liver.There\'s got to be a way the doctors could could safely lessen the number of scripts and you still be safe.Just seroquel alone for me was as addictive as heroine an attached itself to my nervous system.I think your body is chronically deficient in biological available vitamins and minerals and the medications are just treating the symptoms not curing disease.I wish there was some sort of functional/comprehensive medicine MD You could be referred to that cared about getting you better not getting and keeping you on drugs.I Hope God provides other options to help you.
\"If\" and \"when.\" Two word\'s I have come to abhor. But, /Jesus always makes a way.
